After graduating from Full Sail and moving back to Colorado from Arkansas (Go Hogs), Ryan started as an intern at Coupe in 1999. With 6 years at the studio under his belt, he left us to go out on the road. After a short stint learning in the trenches on a tour with Jack Johnson, he started tour managing and doing sound for Rose Hill Drive. Between countless tours, festivals, late night TV appearances on Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Fallon, and World Tours with Van Halen, The Who, Aerosmith, The Black Crowes, Gov't Mule, Wilco, and Queens Of The Stone Age, etc. he was fortunate enough to have rubbed elbows with almost every rock star on the planet...
Along with painting and writing songs, he also found time to manage Super 400, a three piece rock band from upstate NY. With Rose Hill Drive taking a hiatus from touring and his beard getting bigger and grayer by the tour, Ryan took a gig touring as a guitar tech for Dinosaur Jr.
Finally, in 2010, he got a shave and a haircut and luckily for us, found his way back to Coupe. His great ear and experience with world-class rockers make him a huge asset for the studio in both commercial productions as well as band recording.
